First and foremost, we hope every one of you and your families are safe and healthy as we all adjust to the new realities of the past few weeks.
We are implementing new procedures to help keep our clients and our staff healthy and safe as well as to do our part to bring this pandemic to an end as quickly as possible by reducing any possible exposure.
We are still open and still processing tax returns. We understand the very real need to get refunds to people as fast as possible, and we want to be able to process your tax returns as fast as possible as well. To do so we have implemented new procedures so that we can keep working while also maintaining a safe distance from each other.
We will no longer be having in person appointments. – We will switch all in person appointments to telephone appointments to discuss your tax returns.
We will be utilizing our secure electronic system as much as possible.
You can upload your tax documents to us
We can share documents with you
You can sign your tax return electronically
You can pay us with a credit card over the phone or mail in a check
To use our secure file sharing system please E-mail your tax preparer and they will provide you with a link to access the system
If you absolutely cannot use our electronic system you are still able to drop off your information and sign your taxes physically. You will need to call us to let us know when you want to drop off or sign your taxes. When you arrive at the building please call and we will come out to your car and pick up the information or bring your signature pages to you and we will have you sign them in your car. We will not be having clients inside the office and we want to encourage you to remain as isolated as possible during this time which means staying in your car and not entering the building.
The IRS has extended the deadline for making tax payments for 90 days (July 14th)
Tax returns are still due on April 15th but we can always file and extension which will give you until Oct 15th to file your taxes. Any balance due would still be due on the July 14th payment deadline. If you would like an extension please contact your tax preparer or call the office and request an extension. If you are not in need of a refund please consider requesting an extension to allow those who are in need to have their returns processed faster.
